The food that you eat can profoundly affect the way you feel. Changing the foods that you eat puts you in control of your own health journey. It can help you feel so much better.
As a teenager I worked in an independent wholefood shop. Working there gave me a basic understanding of the therapeutic power of food. 20 years later I realised my passion for nutritional therapy and undertook my training at the influential Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London.
I have a young family, an allotment, a love of reading and therefore very little time! I understand the challenge of trying to live a healthy lifestyle alongside balancing the rest of your commitments. Over the years I have learnt to work closely with my clients to find recommendations that are both effective and realistic. I offer a friendly, practical and supportive approach to nutritional therapy.
Membership of Professional Organisations
I am a paid member of the regulating professional body, the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapists (BANT) as well as a member of the Complementary Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and follow their code of conduct, ethics and performance. All BANT and CNHC registered practitioners must undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD). I regularly attend lectures and seminars to keep my skills and knowledge up to date. By choosing a nutritional therapist registered with the CNHC you can be confident that they are properly trained, qualified and insured.
